Running, Moi?
This is the point where I admit that I've done two runs and stopped! Haha! I got a job so now haven't really had the time to run regularly - I run around at work all day anyway! Maybe I'll come back to this blog when I eventually do it... :)

Week 1
Last week, I tried out the Week 1 track, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! The track was really easy to listen to, with a perfect amount of motivation - I just hope it doesn't get too difficult too quickly!

The Beginning...
Hello there!
I've been saying for months (actually, probably years!) that I need to be more active. I eat relatively healthily most of the time, so I don't feel like I need to 'lose weight' or whatever, but improving my fitness is something I really want to do.
I've tried running on the odd occasion, but I get bored and very de-motivated, so when I stumbled across the nhs couch to 5k exercise programme, I thought it was time to give this whole running malarchy a proper go. It's a nine week programme (handy, because my 5km Race For Life is in 9 weeks time...) and you download the posdcasts and listen while you run - what could be simpler?!
I've just ordered an mp3 player (still never got one of thoses things) and plan to start my first 30 minute session on monday. Then it's three times a week for the forseeable! I plan on blogging at least every week about how I'm finding the programme compared to other things I've tried... so keep coming back to see how I'm doing!
Oh, and my friend's got plans of doing the Robin hodd half marathon in September, so who knows?! You might see me there too!
